HURRICANE HELENE RELIEF

In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene's ferocious onslaught on Western North Carolina's resilient mountain communities—where floods ravaged roads, homes, and lifelines—the Imcon Internet Foundation surged forward as a beacon of reconnection and hope. Deploying the revolutionary Internet Backpacks and cutting-edge communication solutions, we swiftly restored high-speed internet and vital connectivity to isolated families, emergency responders, and schools cut off from the world, enabling life-saving coordination, remote learning, and access to essential resources amid the chaos.

In a landmark act of solidarity, we donated 700 state-of-the-art tablets to the McDowell County School District, empowering students to resume their education and rebuild brighter futures, all in seamless partnership with champions like T-Mobile, Verizon, Starlink, and local heroes Rep. Dudley Greene, Rep. Kelly Hastings, Rep. Balkom, and Rep. Crutchfield. This bold initiative not only bridged the digital chasm in disaster's shadow but ignited enduring pathways to recovery, equity, and unbreakable community spirit in the heart of the Appalachians.
